We love a good party, and the Springfest weekend gives us the opportunity to celebrate the return of warmer weather together! Springfest weekend has changed over the years and now includes a backyard burger competition, a car show, and activities associated with the Red Carpet Corridor.

(aka The D-Town Throwdown)

For the past several years, the KCBS “pros” have had all the fun. Now it’s YOUR turn again.

Form your team. Determine your cross-town rivals. And bring it to the D-Town Throwdown.

Individuals, friend groups, families, and businesses are all encouraged to participate, to taunt your rivals to participate, to make the loser do something ridiculous, and to record it for all of us to enjoy.

Registration
Due by April 15, 2024. Download the form, stop in the DEA office, or register online.
$25 if you bring your own grill (or whatever you’re cooking with)
$50 for us to provide a grill for you
4 fresh burger patties will be provided. 2 for practice, and 2 to turn in.
You provide the buns, the seasonings, the whipped cream, or whatever you want to put on your burger.

Prizes
1st Place: $300 in DEA Dollars
2nd Place: $200 in DEA Dollars
3rd Place: $100 in DEA Dollars

Goal! Kicking Contest

This FREE event is being put on by Dwight & Area Youth Soccer. All children from Pre-K through 8th Grade are welcome to participate. The event will be located in the field next to Lifetime Auto. We have grand prizes for the furthest goal kicked in 4 different age groups, as well as participation prizes, so join the fun!
