Since 1979 thousands of people have come to Dwight the third weekend in September to enjoy the Harvest Days celebration. The four- day event begins on Thursday evening with the carnival. A Kiddie Tractor Pull, food vendors, carnival and entertainment on the downtown stage take place Friday night. Saturday and Sunday welcomes some of the finest crafters in a three state radius, along with a flea market, 5K Run and 3K Fun Run & Walk, Kiddie parade, Quilt show, entertainment on the stage and more than 24 food vendors. On Sunday a Tractor show, car show, Basset Waddle, and parade are added to the mix.
