Dwight celebrates Independence Day every year with a fireworks celebration on July 4, regardless of the day of the week. Fireworks are launched from Garrett Park. Spectators may gather in the grassy area at the far East ball field (Washington & Williams). Fireworks begin at dusk (approximately 9:30).
