The Dwight Baptist Academy opened its doors as a ministry of First Baptist Church on August 28, 1975. It consists of grades kindergarten through twelve. Dwight Baptist Academy strives to prepare students to serve God. We have high academic standards and offer students many extra-curricular activities. Students in grades seven through twelve have the opportunity to play interscholastic sports such as volleyball for the girls and basketball for the boys. Dwight Baptist Academy also hosts two annual tournaments. Dwight Baptist Academy students get hands-on training for life through the unique fundraisers and events in which we are involved.

DTHS Juniors and Seniors who meet the requirements may elect to take coursework at the Livingston Area Career Center, located in Pontiac. LACC provides a quality technical education experience, helps students to develop lifelong learning skills, and assists with career decision-making in a safe environment. LACC provides a wide variety of programs, many of which lead to college credit toward Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or certificates and/or lead to professional certifications. College credit for applicable courses is granted by Heartland Community College or Joliet Junior College, depending on the program.

Black Common provides a variety of yoga classes for people of all ages. Like their Facebook page to find out about special classes for youth. These classes are often themed for holidays and are offered to coincide with days off of school.

Fundamentals Sports Academy is a sports facility providing expert coaching in Tumbling, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball. They offer affordable group & private lessons. Futures Unlimited serves individuals with a variety of physical, developmental, and mental disabilities in Livingston County. They provide community day services, employment services, residential programs, and home-based support services. The facility in Dwight provides community day services as well as an opportunity for clients to work in the production of SeedBallz.
